Sven, graffiti painter from Mulhouse
From the street to the canvas
Sven is an artist from Mulhouse, born in 1988 and a member of the Schlager Club. He discovered graffiti while travelling, then painted in the street, in warehouses, on every kind of surface. A few years later, he began transferring those surfaces onto canvas, with their irregularities and textures.
He layers materials the way a visual artist would: these layers, his lettering, his vivid colours and his sometimes spectacular formats make his canvases recognisable.
