Sven is an artist from Mulhouse, born in 1988. He is a member of the Schlager Club.

He discovered graffiti on his travels. Fascinated by the mix of styles and colours, he started painting in the street, in warehouses, on every kind of surface. A few years later, he set out to transfer those surfaces onto canvas, with their irregularities and textures.

Sven layers materials the way a visual artist would: these successive layers make his works singular and recognisable at first glance. His canvases are also defined by his lettering, his vivid colours and his sometimes spectacular formats.

His work has been exhibited around the world, in New York, Miami, Paris, Beirut, Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Lausanne, Strasbourg and Toulouse, alongside major artists such as Banksy, Mr Brainwash and Jorone.

In 2026, with the solo show “In Stone We Trust” at the Malagacha gallery in Strasbourg, he made travertine the starting point of a new series. He combines it with wood, render and mirror, which reflects the space and the viewer: the boundaries between painting, sculpture and urban art fade away.

Today, he continues his research into materials and into the irregularities found in the street through graffiti, where time has left its mark.
